سُبْحَانَ اللّٰهِ وَالْحَمْدُ لِلّٰهِ وَلَا إِلٰهَ إِلَّا اللّٰهُ وَاللّٰهُ أَكْبَرُ
Subḥāna Llāhi wa l-ḥamdu li-Llāhi wa lā ilāha illā Llāhu wa-Llāhu akbar.
I declare Allah free of all imperfection. All praise belongs to Allah. There is no deity but Allah. Allah is the Greatest.

Narrated by Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him). (Sahih Muslim, Dhikr 32/2695; Jami' at-Tirmidhi, Da'awat 128)
This dhikr brings four separate remembrances together:
Subhanallah: means "I declare Allah free of every attribute unbefitting the station of divinity; I do not ascribe or attach any deficiency to Him".
Alhamdulillah: means "I remember Allah Almighty with praise, with all my heart, because of the countless favours He has given me". Praise is the beginning of gratitude.
La ilaha illallah: "The only one who truly exists in the universe, the only one who will live eternally, is Allah. There is no being worthy of worship besides Him."
Allahu akbar: "Allah's greatness, majesty, power, and sovereignty are more exalted than anyone could ever comprehend."
These four remembrances are called "al-Baqiyat as-Salihat" (the enduring righteous deeds). The world is transient, but these remembrances endure.
I declare Allah free of all imperfection. All praise belongs to Allah. There is no deity but Allah. Allah is the Greatest. O Allah! Grant me never to let these four great remembrances leave my tongue. Make the saying of this dhikr more beloved to me than everything upon which the sun rises. In this transient world, make these enduring remembrances beloved to me, O my Lord. Amin.
