اَلْحَمْدُ لِلّٰهِ
Al-ḥamdu li-llāh.
All praise belongs to Allah. (Thanks be to Allah; praise and glorification belong to Allah alone.)

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) made known the virtue of praise. (Sahih Muslim, Taharah 1/223; Jami' at-Tirmidhi, Da'awat 128)
"Alhamdulillah is a phrase expressing praise and reverence, meaning 'thanks belong to Allah, thanks be to Allah, praise belongs to Allah'."
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Alhamdulillah fills the scale" (Sahih Muslim, Taharah 1/223). "To praise Allah at every opportunity is the servant's foremost duty. To say Alhamdulillah is at the same time to give thanks to Allah. Praise is the beginning of gratitude. Whoever does not praise Allah has at the same time failed to thank Him" (reference: İslamveihsan).
Praise is offered in every state — as gratitude when a blessing comes, and as patience when an affliction comes. It is a sunnah to say "Praise be to Allah in every state" (Alhamdulillahi ala kulli hal).
After every prayer "Alhamdulillah" is said thirty-three times (in the tasbihat).
Praise be to You, O my Lord! For Your blessings, for my health, for my faith, for those I love. What I have seen with my eyes, what I have heard with my ears, what I have spoken with my tongue, what I have felt with my heart — for all of these, praise be to You. In every state, praise belongs to You, O my Lord. Amin.
