Source: Sunan Ibn Majah 2913 (hasan (good) hadith).

When he first saw the Kaaba, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) recited this dua. The Kaaba, the Magnified House, is the most sacred place, built as the first house of worship on earth and called "the House of Allah" (Baytullah). "Indeed, the first house of worship established for mankind is the Kaaba in Mecca" (Al Imran 96).

The moment of first seeing the Kaaba is one of the most moving moments for a pilgrim. Eyes fill with tears and hearts find peace. It is narrated that dua made at this moment is accepted. For this reason, when pilgrims first see the Kaaba they raise their hands, recite this dua, and add their own requests as well.

"Those who perform hajj and those who perform umrah are the guests of Allah. If they call upon Him, He answers their call; if they ask forgiveness of Him, He forgives them" (Sunan Ibn Majah, Manasik 5).

Dua in English

O Allah! Increase this House in honour and greatness. And increase in honour, nobility and goodness the pilgrims and those performing umrah who visit it. Make me too among the visitors to this blessed House, O Lord. Amin.
