Bismi'llāhi arqīka min kulli shayʾin yuʾdhīka, min sharri kulli nafsin aw ʿayni ḥāsidin. Allāhu yashfīka, bismi'llāhi arqīka.
In the name of Allah I recite over you against everything that troubles you. May Allah heal you from the evil of every soul and of every envious eye. In the name of Allah I recite over you.
Source: Sahih al-Bukhari 5675 (sahih (authentic) hadith).
Narrated by Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her). (Sahih al-Bukhari, Tibb 38/5675; Sahih Muslim, Salam 40/2186)
Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) reports: "The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) would place his right hand on the sick and pray: 'O Allah! Lord of mankind! Remove this illness and grant healing. You are the One who heals; there is no healing but Your healing. Grant such a healing that no trace of the illness remains'" (Sahih al-Bukhari, Tibb 38/5675).
When reciting the dua for healing, it is sunnah to place the right hand on the sick person and to breathe gently over them. A sick person may also recite this dua over themselves.
In the name of Allah I recite over you against everything that troubles you. May Allah heal you from the evil of the envious eye. O Lord of mankind, grant healing and leave no trace of the illness, O Lord. Amin.
