رَبِّ ارْحَمْهُمَا كَمَا رَبَّيَانِي صَغِيرًا
رَبَّنَا اغْفِرْ لِي وَلِوَالِدَيَّ وَلِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ يَوْمَ يَقُومُ الْحِسَابُ
Rabbi irḥamhumā kamā rabbayānī ṣaghīrā.
Rabbanā ighfir lī wa li-wālidayya wa li'l-muʾminīna yawma yaqūmu'l-ḥisāb.
My Lord! Have mercy upon them (my parents), as they raised me when I was small. (al-Isra 24)
Our Lord! Forgive me, my parents and all the believers on the Day when the reckoning is established! (Ibrahim 41)

The dua of Ibrahim (peace be upon him). (al-Isra 24; Ibrahim 41)
The Noble Qur'an commands kindness to parents: "Your Lord has decreed that you worship none but Him, and that you be good to your parents. If one or both of them reach old age with you, do not even say 'ugh' to them, do not rebuke them, but speak to them a gracious word. Out of mercy, lower to them the wing of humility and say: 'My Lord! Have mercy upon them, as they raised me when I was small'" (al-Isra 23-24).
Ibrahim (peace be upon him) prayed thus: "Our Lord! Forgive me, my parents and all the believers on the Day when the reckoning is established!" (Ibrahim 41).
The dua of parents is answered. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "There are three duas about whose acceptance there is no doubt: the dua of the one who has been wronged, the dua of the traveller, and the dua of a parent for his child" (Jami' at-Tirmidhi, Birr 7).
My Lord! Have mercy on my mother and my father and forgive them. As they raised us when we were small, so do You have mercy on them. Give light to their eyes and fill their hearts with peace. Grant that they pass the rest of their lives in faith and health. On the Day of Reckoning, forgive me, my parents and all the believers, O Lord. Amin.
