They are the various duas of Musa (peace be upon him) that occur in the Qur'an. He is known by the title Kalimullah (the one who spoke with Allah).
Musa (peace be upon him) is known by the title Kalimullah (the one who spoke with Allah). Allah Almighty spoke to him directly. The name of Musa occurs 136 times in the Qur'an. The Torah was given to him. He is one of the Ulu'l-ʿazm prophets (those of the highest rank).
The first dua (al-Qasas 16) is the repentance Musa made after unintentionally killing a Copt. The second dua (al-Qasas 21) is the dua he made to be saved from the oppression of the tyrant Pharaoh while fleeing Egypt. The third dua (al-Aʿraf 151) is the moment when he asked Allah for forgiveness together with his brother Harun. The fourth dua (al-Aʿraf 156) is the dua in which he asked Allah for good in this world and in the Hereafter on behalf of his people, the Children of Israel.
Musa's most famous dua is "Rabbi'shraḥ lī ṣadrī..." (My Lord, expand my breast for me) in Ta-Ha 25-28; this is also known as a separate dua. The duas of Musa (peace be upon him) are powerful supplications to take refuge in during hard times, and they may be recited in every kind of distress.
My Lord! I have wronged my own soul, so forgive me. Save me from the wrongdoers. Admit me, my brothers and sisters and my loved ones into Your mercy. You are the Most Merciful of those who show mercy. Write for us good in this world and in the Hereafter. Deliver us from distress and forgive our sins, O Lord. Amin.
