Our Lord! Do not hold us accountable if we forget or make a mistake. Our Lord! Do not lay upon us a burden like the one You laid upon those before us. Our Lord! Do not make us bear what we have no strength for. Pardon us, forgive us, and have mercy on us. You are our Protector, so help us against the disbelieving people.

Kaynak

Source: al-Baqarah 286 (an ayah of the Noble Qur'an).

It is the last ayah of Surah al-Baqarah. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever recites the last two ayat of Surah al-Baqarah at night, those two ayat will suffice him." (Sahih al-Bukhari, Maghazi 12; Sahih Muslim, Salat al-Musafirin 255)

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever recites the last two ayat of Surah al-Baqarah at night, those two ayat will suffice him" (Sahih al-Bukhari, Maghazi 12; Sahih Muslim, Salat al-Musafirin 255). The word "suffice" is explained as meaning that they will be enough for him that night for the salah (prayer), and for protection from calamity, from Satan and from every kind of evil.

Ibn Masud (may Allah be pleased with him) reports: "On the night of the Miʿraj, three things were given to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): the five daily prayers, the last ayat of Surah al-Baqarah, and the glad tidings that those of his ummah who do not associate partners with Allah would be forgiven" (Sahih Muslim, Iman 279).

This ayah contains seven separate duas: asking not to be held accountable for forgetfulness and error, asking not to be laid with a heavy burden, asking not to be made to bear what cannot be borne, and asking for pardon, forgiveness, mercy, and help against the disbelievers. This dua contains almost everything a believer could ask of his Lord. In a hadith qudsi, Allah Almighty said "I have accepted it" for each of the duas in these ayat (Sahih Muslim, Iman 199).
