رَبَّنَا وَاجْعَلْنَا مُسْلِمَيْنِ لَكَ وَمِنْ ذُرِّيَّتِنَا أُمَّةً مُسْلِمَةً لَكَ وَأَرِنَا مَنَاسِكَنَا وَتُبْ عَلَيْنَا إِنَّكَ أَنْتَ التَّوَّابُ الرَّحِيمُ
Rabbanā wa-jʿalnā muslimayni laka wa-min dhurriyyatinā ummatan muslimatan laka wa-arinā manāsikanā wa-tub ʿalaynā innaka anta t-Tawwābu r-Raḥīm.
Our Lord! Make us both submissive to You. From our offspring too raise a nation submissive to You. Show us our rites of worship and accept our repentance. Indeed, You are the Ever-Accepting of repentance, the Most Merciful.

This is the dua Ibrahim and Isma'il (peace be upon them) made while building the Kaaba. (Al-Baqarah 127-128)
Ibrahim and his son Isma'il (peace be upon them) made this dua as they raised the foundations of the Kaaba (Al-Baqarah 127-128). That they pleaded, "Our Lord! Make us submissive to You," even while building the most blessed house of worship in human history, shows how important sensitivity in servitude to Allah is.
The expression "muslimayni laka" (make us both submissive to You) states the essence of Islam. To be a Muslim is to submit to Allah. Ibrahim and Isma'il made this request even though they were already prophets. This shows that no one can feel secure with regard to Islam and that there is a constant need to turn to Allah.
The part "min dhurriyyatinā ummatan muslimatan" (from our offspring a nation submissive to You) points to the ummah of Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him). This dua of Ibrahim includes us. The Prophet said, "I am the dua of my father Ibrahim" (Musnad Ahmad I, 281).
The request "Arinā manāsikanā" (show us our rites of worship) is Ibrahim's wish to learn from Allah how the Hajj was to be performed. This is a Qur'anic dua that can be recited so that every act of worship may be accepted.
Our Lord! Make us servants submitted to You. From our offspring too, raise a nation that submits to You. Show us the ways of worship and accept our acts of worship. Accept our repentance. You are the Ever-Accepting of repentance, the Most Merciful, O Lord. Amin.
