اَللّٰهُمَّ أَصْلِحْ لِي دِينِيَ الَّذِي هُوَ عِصْمَةُ أَمْرِي وَأَصْلِحْ لِي دُنْيَايَ الَّتِي فِيهَا مَعَاشِي وَأَصْلِحْ لِي آخِرَتِي الَّتِي فِيهَا مَعَادِي وَاجْعَلِ الْحَيَاةَ زِيَادَةً لِي فِي كُلِّ خَيْرٍ وَاجْعَلِ الْمَوْتَ رَاحَةً لِي مِنْ كُلِّ شَرٍّ
Allāhumma aṣliḥ lī dīniya lladhī huwa ʿiṣmatu amrī, wa aṣliḥ lī dunyāya llatī fīhā maʿāshī, wa aṣliḥ lī ākhiratiya llatī fīhā maʿādī, wa-jʿali l-ḥayāta ziyādatan lī fī kulli khayr, wa-jʿali l-mawta rāḥatan lī min kulli sharr.
O Allah! Set right my religion, for it is the safeguard of my affair. Set right my world, for in it is my livelihood. Set right my Hereafter, for to it is my return. Make life for me an increase in every good. Make death for me a release from every evil.

Narrated by Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him). The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to recite this dua. (Sahih Muslim, Dhikr 17/2720)
Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) relates: "The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) used to pray: 'Allāhumma aṣliḥ lī dīnī...'" (Sahih Muslim, Dhikr 17/2720). This dua covers three dimensions of the human being: religion, this world, and the Hereafter.
The first request is "the setting right of my religion." For religion is the safeguard of a person's affair (ismatu amrī). If religion is sound, every affair is sound. If religion is corrupted, everything is corrupted. The second request is "the setting right of my world." The world is the place of livelihood (maʿāshī). Lawful provision, a peaceful family, and a healthy body are the signs of a sound worldly life. The third request is "the setting right of my Hereafter." The Hereafter is the place of return (maʿādī). Preparing for it begins while one is still in this world.
The last two requests concern life and death. To say "make life an increase in every good" shows that a long life gains meaning only through doing good. To say "make death a release from every evil" is to ask that death be a rest from evils and a passage into Paradise.
This comprehensive dua is one of the most valuable duas, and it may be recited morning and evening, after the prayers, and at any time.
O Allah! Set my religion in order, for it is the safeguard of my affair. Set my world in order, for in it is my livelihood. Set my
Hereafter in order, for to it is my return. Make my life an increase in every good and make my years blessed. Make my death a release from every evil, and take my soul upon faith, O Lord. Amin.
