اَللّٰهُمَّ اكْفِنِي بِحَلَالِكَ عَنْ حَرَامِكَ وَأَغْنِنِي بِفَضْلِكَ عَمَّنْ سِوَاكَ
اَللّٰهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْهَمِّ وَالْحَزَنِ وَالْعَجْزِ وَالْكَسَلِ وَالْجُبْنِ وَالْبُخْلِ وَضَلَعِ الدَّيْنِ وَغَلَبَةِ الرِّجَالِ
Allāhumma'kfinī bi-ḥalālika ʿan ḥarāmika wa aghninī bi-faḍlika ʿamman siwāk.
Allāhumma innī aʿūdhu bika mina'l-hammi wa'l-ḥazan wa'l-ʿajzi wa'l-kasal wa'l-jubni wa'l-bukhl wa ḍalaʿi'd-dayni wa ghalabati'r-rijāl.
O Allah! Suffice me with what You have made lawful so that I have no need of what You have forbidden. Enrich me with Your bounty so that I have no need of anyone besides You.
O Allah! I seek refuge in You from worry, sorrow, incapacity, laziness, cowardice, miserliness, the burden of debt and the oppression of men.

Narrated by Ali (may Allah be pleased with him). A slave burdened with debt came to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and he taught him this dua. (Jami' at-Tirmidhi, Da'awat 87/3563; Musnad Ahmad I/158; Sunan Abi Dawud, Witr 32/1555)
Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) relates: "A slave who had a contract for his freedom (mukatab) came to me and said, 'I cannot find the money I must pay my master; help me.' I said, 'Shall I teach you some words that the Messenger of Allah taught me?' and I taught him this dua: 'Allahummakfini bi-halalika an haramika...'" (Jami' at-Tirmidhi, Da'awat 87/3563).
This dua is especially important for those who are under debt, those who suffer material hardship, and everyone who asks Allah for lawful provision. The phrase "Bi-halalika an haramika" (suffice me with what is lawful to You, away from what is unlawful) shows that lawful provision is better and more sufficient than the unlawful.
The part "Wa aghnini bi-fadlika amman siwak" (enrich me with Your bounty so that I need no one besides You) teaches that true wealth comes through the bounty of Allah, and that to be in need of people is true poverty. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "Richness is not having many possessions; richness is richness of the heart" (Sahih al-Bukhari, Riqaq 15; Sahih Muslim, Zakat 119).
The second dua is the Prophet's dua of seeking refuge in Allah from debt and from the troubles that debt brings. Debt makes a person anxious by night and humiliated by day. To be protected from it, one should read this dua constantly.
O Allah! Through Your lawful provision, do not leave me in need of the unlawful. Enrich me with Your bounty so that I need not depend on Your servants. Protect me from the burden of debt and from the oppression of men. Give me lawful and abundant provision. Let my debts be paid and my hardships removed, O my Lord. Amin.
