Kaynak

Source: Ta-Ha 25-28 (ayat of the Noble Qur'an).

Our Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Every important matter that is not begun with the basmala is deficient in its end." (Ali al-Muttaqi, Kanz al-Ummal I, 555/2491). Verses 25-28 of Ta-Ha are the dua of Musa (peace be upon him).

Our Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Every important matter that is not begun with the basmala is deficient in its end" (Ali al-Muttaqi, I, 555). This hadith sets out the importance of beginning every task with Bismillah. Bismillah means invoking the name of Allah and thereby asking for His help and His blessing.

The dua "Rabbi yassir wa-lā tuʿassir, Rabbi tammim bi-l-khayr" is the well-known dua of completion recited in the Islamic tradition at the start of every task. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would recite this dua often and would also teach it to his Companions. Verses 25-28 of Surah Ta-Ha are the incomparable dua in which Musa (peace be upon him) asked his Lord for ease as he was about to go to Pharaoh. Musa asked for his breast to be expanded, for his task to be made easy, and for the knot of his tongue to be loosened.

This dua may be recited at the beginning of any important task, whether great or small. Reciting it before an examination, when starting a new job, when setting out on a journey, or when making an important decision draws Allah's help and makes the outcome of the matter good.
